Learn HTML From Beginner to Webmaster! A Step by Step Tutorial - Volume 1

Volume 1. What West Virginia Lemon Laws HTML and why should I learn it?

To begin, let me welcome you mortgage loans this comprehensive guide to learning HTML. This guide will be divided into volumes, to make everything easy and clear for everyone to follow.

Learning HTML is not hard -- in fact, anyone can learn because HTML is markup language, language that only instructs how text is to be laid out and formatted, and uses plain English to do so.

HTML is an acronym meaning HyperText Markup Language. Hypertext is injury compensation fancy word for 'link'. We can quickly see that the most widespread use of Hypertext is the World Wide Web. You used Hypertext to navigate to this guide!

Just like the old saying that everyone is somehow related to everyone else, somewhere down the line, most web sites and pages are linked down the line somewhere.

Take, for example, this site. This site old school Basketball to a search engine, and the search engine links to millions of other pages. The search engine then links back to this site, completing the web. All of this is possible by Hypertext!

So why should you bother learning HTML?

More and more, it seems, life is becoming more intertwined with the Internet. People are increasingly more connected in ways they have never been before. The Internet offers plenty of places to 'stake your claim' to your own space, Batman your own piece of virtual real estate.

But, with vast numbers also comes monotony to real estate on what could be a virtual gold mine. Familiarizing yourself with the basic building blocks of your virtual space can help you make 'face lifts' or whole remodeling.

Just like a home, there is no greater satisfaction of a DIY job well done.

So what's this HTML look like?

If you're running Internet Explorer, right click and hit 'View Source'. If you're running Firefox, hit View -> View Source.

Congratulations! What you're looking at is HTML. It may boggle your mind to see so much strange and alien looking text, but this is what your browser (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox) is reading to change into what you see before you. Don't become disheartened by the seemingly vast complexity of it. HTML is a very deliberate language and a very direct one too.
